Inspired by our wild and beautiful oceans these are very special Mala necklaces..
Each one is lovingly handmade for us in Bali, to our designs, by the famous Aum Rudraksha studio, then blessed with a traditional Balinese blessing before arriving in us in Sydney. We have visited this amazing studio and the team in person we are very honoured to work with them to create our designs.
Our Mala necklaces are made ethically using responsibly sourced gemstones, high quality, authentic rudraksha seed beads, and our signature beach glass pieces.
Each necklace has the beautiful rudraksha seed beads, and a mixture of these authentic gemstones : Turquoise, Amazonite, Aquamarine, Lapis, Blue Lace Agate, White Howite and silver beads, alongside 3 pieces of sea smoothed beach glass in white and turquoise.
Aum Rudraksha says that these sacred rudraksha beads are regarded as the timeless jewels of the gods, being the most powerful aid in the path of Self-realisation. It is believed that Rudraksha beads grow on trees that have emanated from the tears of Lord Shiva, and used for centuries in Hinduism and Buddhism for Self-empowerment and to live a fearless life.
The beads we use are grown on
Aum Rudraksha's sustainable plantations in Indonesia. They use first quality untumbled beads. Rudraksha beads have different faces and varieties. The Rudraksha bead we use are the five mukhi which is the most common Rudraksha. It has five natural lines from head to bottom which symbolize the five forms of Lord Shiva, the symbol of auspiciousness.
Please note that this image is a representation of the style and colour of the item. Due to the nature of beach glass, the colour, sizes and exact shapes of the beach glass will vary slightly due to the fact that each is totally unique. These differences we do not see as a flaw in fact we think that this is what makes each piece so special. Each piece of beach glass is carefully selected for each Mala.
